My 'To Watch' List For 2019 | AD

One thing 2019 has done well already is the number of fantastic TV shows there is this year. I cannot wait to start binging my favourite shows now that I have settled in our home. I love the full effect when watching a TV show from having the snacks and to the people that are with you, but for me, I find having that visual experience is essentialThe Panasonic wireless home cinema system can make all the difference by transforming your room into a space that will deliver an experience. By watching your favourite TV show and seeing the special effects and experiencing the excitement that comes with it feels like you’re actually a part of it, you, your family, and friends will be amazed.

I have always loved watching a good show from comedy to drama, so I decided to make my 'to watch' list for 2019 as I am so psyched for these shows and I am interested if anyone else will be watching these too.

Big Little Lies

This show has been something that I have always heard about and finally had the chance to watch the first season, and my goodness, I was hooked from episode one. Not only has it won an Emmy and has such fantastic actress' on the show, but this also took me by surprise right away. I seemed to have watched this at the right time as a second season will be starting in June. It starts off leading us think to what has happened at a party and shows the about struggles with family, friends and the past.

Netflix truly knows what the audience wants and we have been given ten whole episodes by the fabulous Chris Lilley. I grew up watching all of his shows from Summer Heights High to Ja'mie Private School Girl, and always loved every work he has done. I admit I watched this in two days, but I am planning to watch this again, for sure.

Orange is The New Black

I am so heartbroken that this will be the finale in June. I wasn't all that keen on the last season mainly for the reason that there were too many new characters to adjust with and we were missing half the other characters. I hope they up their game for the finale. I am going to miss this show as I have loved it from day one and STILL not happy that they killed off Poussey.

Inside no. 9

From the makers of League of Gentleman, this show definitely gets better and better each series. There is always a new plot every episode and I get the Black Mirror vibe from this show too. Each episode always has the number 9 involved hence the number in the title. I love that there is a shock or twist within the episode and it is always unexpected.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians

I have watched this show for so long and have stopped watching the likes of Made in Chelsea and TOWIE, yet I am never bored with the Kardashians.  There is always something happening, and I am pretty stoked for what this season will be bringing us...

Have you seen any of these shows these too?

Get Ready With Me | Morning Edition (Gifted)

When I have to go to work, my morning routine is pretty much me rushing around after I have pressed the snooze button for the third time. Harry and I moved house last year, and now the commute to work is a lot longer. It used to be 5 minutes but now it is half an hour which is a huge difference, and means I don't get any more lie-ins.

I get to work for 8 am and try to wake up for 6:30 am, once I am up I make sure to do my skincare routine as I have gotten so lazy at this and had stopped for a while. I use the Simple Refreshing Wash Gel which works wonders for my skin and also wakes me up as I use cold water on my face to wash it off then hot water on a towel to dab on my face. After that, I use Clean and Clear blackhead cleanser and Simple Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner.

The most important thing to do in the morning is brushing your teeth though I never feel thoroughly clean and complete until I use mouthwash. I am currently using The Breath Co. Oral Rinse, the formal in the mouthwash uses the natural germ-fighting power of oxygen to attack the source of bad breath odour and gum irritation.

Now you’re probably thinking ‘she has bad breath? Ewww’ but I think it’s important to look after every single part of yourself plus it will leave you with a minty fresh breath at the end of it.  Usually, I don't like using mouthwash, as it can tend to burn but this is far from it, this leaves you feeling fresh for 24 hours. You can find these at Boots and Superdrug stores and online too.

I spend most of the morning putting makeup on I tend to not put loads on yet that never happens... I end up looking like someone of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Finally, once I am out of my pyjamas and into my clothes, every morning I have been using Grether's Pastilles Redcurrants, and it's sugar-free too. I am always looking for something to have throughout the day especially in the morning as I said before driving takes around 40 minutes now and I eat breakfast at work so this helps me before I get this.

They're beneficial soothing sore throats and voice strains – as someone who can get sore throats regularly and sings a lot in the car from the commuting, this is a must have for me. These are a firm favourite with A-lister including Ariana Grande and Katy Perry, each soothing saviour is formulated to ease sore throats and hoarseness, prevent dry mouth and come in both original and sugar-free versions making them suitable for consumption by diabetics.

Beautifully wrapped in a highly coverable and portable gold tin, I am currently trying the redcurrants though they have three other deliciously intense fruity flavours including blackcurrant, delicate elderflower and super fruit blueberry. I feel ready for my day and also love having Grether's Pastilles whilst I am work.

Do you have a simple morning routine or is yours rushed like mine?

Adding A Few Touches To My Bathroom (Gifted)

It’s nearly been a year since I have moved house and we’re still no way finished with the decorating, but I am totally happy with that as you can sometimes rush the process and end up wanting to change it again. We’re lucky to say that our first bought house is everything and even more than what we wanted.

When we bought the house, the first thing that I was excited about was buying everything and decorating each room, and this meant Pinterest would be my best friend. Each room has there own style, and once I started to plan, I realised that the bathroom would be the hardest to decorate as ours is small meaning we can't add too much to it.

I received some products from Tesa to help make my bathroom not feel so empty, and I am beyond excited to put these up. I mainly use the bathroom as I am obsessed with baths and we have an en-suite too. You realise you need the little things to make your bathroom have some 'life'.

Tesa bathroom hardware sets require no drilling whatsoever, and for me, this is a game changer. Forget the extra miles for screws and nails, and keep your tiles in one piece. Tesa saves you from extensive bathroom remodelling costs and guarantees a reliable hold and an easy mounting and removal experience.

I got the self-adhesive Tesa Smooz soap holder as said before, this doesn't require drilling and can be easily removed and remounted. The soap holder is a reliable hold, waterproof and fits perfectly.

As I love baths, my current bathroom has no towel rack/holder, so I was super excited to put this up. I have the Loxx Swivel towel bar, chromed metal, self-adhesive and again it is simple to put on my tiled wall, and it can also work on the following: metal, natural stone, marble, concrete, wood, glass and many types of plastic. The product has two flexible arms that provide plenty of space for two or more towels of various sizes to dry. With its vivacious design, the round double bar is an attractive addition to any bathroom.

I have never experienced and not even known anything like this can be done as easy at this. The box on the back tells you what you need to do in pictures and you get all the equipment you need inside. The holder is mounted with a powerful adhesive solution that requires 12 hours to harden, and once the 12 hours is up you screw in the rest, and voila, it's complete.

My bathroom is nearly finished and looks and feels so much more homely with these added products, and now it's time to have a bath and make my hands smell fruity.
