My Top Guilty Pleasures...

We all have guilty pleasures, and sometimes we like to keep it to ourselves. With the release of Clive Christian’s new perfume line, the theme is Arts and Guilty Pleasures, and I thought it's perfect to talk about my guilty pleasures. You can check his new perfume line called ‘Addictive Arts'.

One of my guilty pleasures is something a lot of people will moan about, and that is putting your Christmas tree up early. And yes, I have mine up already (put it up 2 weeks ago, no shame) I have so much love for Christmas, what is there not to love about it?! The films are spectacular, you get presents, and you can eat as much as you want, and no one will judge you. It really is the most wonderful time of the year. My rule is that if the supermarkets and shops can have their Christmas decs up, then why can’t I?

Cosying up with the Christmas tree there’s nothing more I love than to eat cereal. You’re thinking ‘that’s not a guilty pleasure’, but I am obsessed with Kraves. Every time I have mentioned to people about how much I love this cereal, they go on saying ‘it’s a kids cereal’ I didn’t know there was a rule on eating certain cereals. One thing I am guilty of though is that I can't stop eating it, especially the hazelnut ones. I could honestly give everything else up and just eat this for the rest of my life. Again, no shame.

As it’s winter, it is cold and dark early, meaning one thing - binge-watching. I am one of those that will find a good show, and it will be done in the next few days. I am guilty of doing this a lot and feel the guilt right in me when I see myself in the black screen in front of me asking the big question... ‘Are you still watching?’… uh, DUH. You can find my top Netflix picks of Part 1 and Part 2.

Do you have any guilty pleasures? Let me know if agree with mine?

Is Being Offended By Everything The New Trend?

Lately, I have noticed that so many people are being offended by the tiniest little thing. I am quite an outspoken person and get confused how some people can be offended by something that doesn't seem that much of a big deal at all. To me, it's people who are either scared of the truth or trying to look for ANYTHING to moan about. Don't get me wrong, I love a good moan, but I am not offended by it, I just find it rather annoying. People these days seem to go to the extreme and make something out of nothing.

Now normally, I let things go (sometimes), but this week the whole Zoella thing has bugged me. And that's not because of the calendar, though yes I agree, the cost may be a little pricey for a 12-day calendar. I'm talking more of her previous tweets that people are, for some odd reason, offended by. These are the 7/8-year-old tweets with Zoe saying words like 'fat' and 'chav' etc...

Firstly, it's kind of sad that someone found these tweets. I mean, get a life. But also, I'm shocked to see how many people are offended by these. Again, don't get me wrong, what she said was wrong BUT this was years old and guess what... people change, guys. I also see people say 'she's 20 though, she should know better', but I forgot that after a certain age we should automatically be perfect. Nobody is perfect. I say a lot of things I don't mean and that was probably even last week.

I wrote a tweet expressing how I feel, and a lot of people said that what she said, was absolutely disgusting. I have honestly heard so much worse! It's funny though because what made me laugh the most, is that some people go on like they've had never judged a person in their life. If you have never done that, then are you even human? We all do it, we regret it and move on. Unless they were saying it personally to you, then fair enough, but are some tweets that were written years ago, really offending you?

A lot of things can offend people from soaps to adverts, and it's strange that people feel the need to complain at something to things like Ofcom.

A tip: You can not watch it and then you won't get offended. Simples.

I feel that we have to be careful these days as we're afraid of hurting people. Of course, I completely agree with someone getting offended by racist and homophobe comments, as I would be too. But old tweets or people swearing in a song, is being offended really going to do anything? We seem to be too afraid these days walking on eggshells.

"It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that',
as if it gives them certain rights.

Its no more than a whine. 'I find that offensive'. It has no meaning,
it has no purpose, it has no reason to be respected as a phrase.

'I'm offended by that'

Well, so fucking what?"

- Stephen Fry

Do you agree or do you get offended a lot? And are you offended by this post?

Juicy Orchard Pig

I was given some samples from Orchard Pig as I reached out to them on how much I love their non-alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, they don't sell these in any supermarkets, and after I discovered these in Giraffe, I fell in love instantly with the Very Berried. Not going to lie here when I say that it is THE best drink ever.

I didn't realise how many different flavours there are and I have got to say that they did not disappoint. I adore fruity drinks but I am never able to find anything unless I am at a restaurant, and I don't have the time and money to buy each ingredient to make one. You can check all the other drinks on their website.

These drinks are perfect for either having dinner or watching a movie on Netflix. They also do cider for which they're best known for, I haven't had these yet, but I can imagine they are just as tasty.

Here are the drinks and what they are like:

Very Berried
Sparkling strawberry and blackberry with a cheeky twist of poppy - My fav! If I were to be a drink, this would be me! It's so fruity and that twist of poppy makes it not too sweet which I love.

Apple Tingler
Sparkling apple crush - A refreshing sparkling apple drink. Nothing but perfection.

Totally Minted
Pink grapefruit and mint with a zesty twist of lime - One of my favourites. If you don't drink alcohol this is definitely a perfect mocktail.

Deeply Rooted
Sparkling ginger and chilli with a wicked twist of fennel - This has to be a very strange combination but I did like it and would definitely have again.

Flower Power
Sparkling apple juice with elderflower - I’ve had similar drinks like this and it is perfect for the summer.

Apple Rambler
Still apple juice - This was the only one I wasn’t too sure with but only because I didn't read that it was a still drink however this is very refreshing.

Let me know if you've tried their juicy drinks or even their cider?

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Honestly, where has the year gone?! How is it November already? I love this time of year, but it goes way too fast. It's nearly 2018, and it is mad how 2008 was 10 years ago, it feels like it was yesterday.

I love a good blog post or Youtube video of peoples monthly favourites and thought I would show you my favs from October...

Honey & lemon with hot water

I didn't realise how much of a benefit having hot water with honey and lemon can be. I am not lying and can honestly say that I have not had a proper cold in for so long. I would get an odd sore throat here and there, but always feel so much better after drinking this. You can see what else it can do here

One of the many reasons why I love Christmas is because of these beauts. They are delicious and can never feel the need to share these... as they're all gone in ten seconds. I love anything chocolate, especially the Christmas choccies from After Eights to Terry's chocolate orange *drool*, but there is something about Snowbites that I just love even more.

Vaseline (cocoa butter)

My lips are so temperamental. They get even worse when the weather changes, especially when it gets colder. They chap so much and have a habit (when nervous) of biting my lips. I have had many chapsticks in the past, but I honestly think that this is the best creation ever. My lips feel SO MUCH better after using this. I always seem to lose these though, meaning I buy more, and then to find it straight after... typical.

Maybelline Sensational limited edition

I have struggled for sooo long finding the best mascara, and I am so happy that I FINALLY have a good mascara in my life. I have tried many brands from MAC to BENEFIT, and I always find myself going back to the classic high-street makeup brands. What I love about this is that not only is it so affordable, but I adore the look it can give you, and how it can volumise your eyelashes so well. 10/10 for me.

Do you agree on any of these? Let me know what else you've been loving?
